Head Coach/General Manager
Greg is entering his third season (2020-21) as Head Coach/General Manager of the Great Falls Americans.
A Webster, Wisconsin native, Sears brings over 11 years of coaching experience to the Americans program. Sears served last season as the Head Coach for the Florida Eels Elite in the USPHL. During the 2016-17 season Sears was an Assistant Coach for the Yellowstone Quake. The Quake went 40-4-3 and won both the Frontier division regular season and playoff title.
Prior to the season with the Quake, Sears served as the Head Coach for the Atlanta Fire U18 AAA hockey program, and Assistant Hockey Director in Alpharetta, Georgia. Coach Sears spent the 2013-14 season as an Assistant Coach for the Coulee Region Chill of the North American Hockey League (NAHL).
Along with experience in the NAHL and NA3HL, Sears has spent eight years as a Head Prep hockey coach in Wisconsin, spending four years at both Webster High School, and La Crosse Central High School. In addition Coach Sears has worked with Top Dog Hockey program out of Minneapolis, Minnesota for 12 years.

Kirk is entering his first season (2020-21) as Associate Coach of the Great Falls Americans.
A native of Vail, Colorado, Kirk played hockey at the 15U AAA team before transferring to Shattuck St. Mary’s in Faribault, Minnesota where he won a 17U Tier 1 National Championship as a senior.
He spent two years of Junior A hockey in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) for the Lone Star Cavalry (2003-04, Richland Hills, TX), and the Santa Fe (New Mexico) Road Runners and the Cleveland Junior Barons (2004-05). Kirk moved up to play hockey at the collegiate level where he attended and played for Hobart College (2005-09), a NCAA Division III school in Geneva, New York where he helped his team make the National Tournament in three of his four years. Hobart College was a member of the Eastern College Athletic Conference West (ECAC-West).
The left-handed forward/defenseman played professional hockey after his college days in Germany, France, the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FHL), and Sweden. During the 2012-13 season is where he spent time in the FHL with the Cape Cod Bluefins (Hyannis, PA) and the Danville (IL) Dashers. Kirk continued to play in the top Australian and New Zealand hockey leagues before stepping to the other side of the bench.
His main focus became player development and during the 2015-16 season in Hong Kong, he help guide the youth program and the Hong Kong Select teams.
Prior to coming to Great Falls, Kirk was in Aspen, Colorado, where he served in numerous roles in their hockey community. He was an assistant coach for Aspen High School during the 2016-17 season before becoming Coach Coordinator for the youth program the following season (2017-18). The 2018-19 season saw the Colorado native become the Head of Player Development for Aspen Junior Hockey. Coach Golden spent two seasons at the helm of the Girl’s 19U A and AA programs where he led the teams to State titles (2018-19 and 2019-20). He coached the 19U A team to back-to-back undefeated season going 51-0-1.

Public Relations/Media Coordinator
Kevin Scott is entering his 7th season (2020-21) as Public Relations Coordinator of the Great Falls Americans for the 2019-20 season. Kevin is in charge of the distribution of information regarding the hockey team. His duties include writing game summaries after home and away games, creating press releases for news announcements regarding the Americans and updating the website with current information.
In January 2014, he created a FREE weekly Great Falls Americans E-Newletter for fans during the hockey season. He also assists the news media with information and keeps them informed on news and events. He previously worked for the team in 2012 as a Parking Attendant.
Kevin grew up in Sand Coulee, MT (just east of Great Falls) and attended Centerville High School where he graduated in 1997. After high school, he attended the University of Montana-Western located in the small town of Dillon, MT, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Communications in 2002.
He is currently working at Easter Seals-Goodwill in Great Falls and is a Confero Sports Foundation board member.
Previously, Kevin was the Sports Information Director at the University of Great Falls and he was also the Marketing Coordinator for the University of Great Falls Athletic Association Lancer Booster Club.
In his spare time, Kevin enjoys attending a variety of sporting events including hockey, football, basketball and baseball.
Kevin and his wife, Alta live in Great Falls and have one daughter, Lily born in June 2015.
