2016-17 GFA: Stars of the Month

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) gives out monthly Stars of the Month presented by Bauer and Vaughn throughout the regular season. Below are the awards the Great Falls Americans have received for the 2016-17 season (September 2016 – March 2017)

February 2017

The NA3HL gives out a monthly “Player of the Month” award each month of the regular season. The awards, presented by Bauer Hockey and Vaughn, are given to the top performing players in each of the three positions (Forward, Defenseman, Goaltender) of the North American 3 Hockey League that are nominated by their respective teams.

November 2016

For the Month of November 2016

NA3HL Defenseman of the Month: Danny O’Donnell, GF Americans

With four goals and eleven assists, Great Falls defenseman Danny O’Donnell was a force at the blue line in November for the Americans. The 6’2”/185lbs 20-year-old from Ventura, CA was +10 through six games in November, and registered a game-winning goal to close out the month.

“Danny continues to excel for our team as we make our way into the halfway mark of the season,” said Assistant Coach Erik Gatson.
