In the second, Mcsharry put in a goal at 4:31 with assists from his teammates Juliussen and Simpson. Cross finally put the Bighorns on the board with a goal at 7:47 with a helper from his linemate Noel.
During the third period, Cline deposited a goal at 7:56 with assists from his linemates, Pierce and Lindberg. Dearing answered for Great Falls with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 10:35 with a helper from Vandenbos.
The Americans’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Sharp as he stopped 23 of the 25 shots he faced. Sharp’s counterpart, Battaglia, also had a big night, managing to stop 38 of 41, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Great Falls Americans’ record to (11-3-2-0).
