GREAT FALLS, Mont., July 18, 2014 —The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) has announced the 2014 NA3HL Showcase schedule for the annual event held in Blaine, Minnesota in December 2014.
The five-year-old Showcase, featuring all 31 NA3HL teams playing three regular season games, displays some of the best talent in the junior leagues in the United States and will be conducted on December 7-9, 2014 at the Schwan Super Rink located in Blaine, Minnesota. The NA3HL last played at the prestigious Minnesota rink in 2012. Last season’s showcase took place at the Canlan Ice Sports facility in Romeoville, Illinois.
The tournament is well-attended and attracts both college and junior scouts to the three-day tournament.
In addition to the NA3HL, all of the 32 teams from the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL, Tier I), six teams in the Bantam Tournament Series (BTS) and four teams for the debut of the Girls 16U level at the Girl’s Tournament Series (GTS) will be in attendance. An unannounced 32nd team for the NA3HL event will be from another Tier III junior league.
The Schwan Super Rink is the largest state-of-the art ice arena in the world featuring over 300,000 square feet, eight sheets of ice along with a variety of amenities and services including a pro shop and a cafe.
All tournament contests will be broadcast live on the FASTHockey, an on-demand streaming service that the NA3HL utilizes to broadcast all of their games.
The Great Falls Americans will play two of their home regular season games at this tournament. The tournament schedule for the Great Falls Americans is below:
