By Kevin Scott, Great Falls Americans Public Relations/Media Coordinator
Thank you, from the Great Falls Americans
March 18, 2020
I want to take this time to thank our very talented Great Falls American hockey players who we have loved watching all season long and all of the staff, from owner Jim Keough to Americans general manager/head coach Greg Sears to the game night staff, who helped make this season successful at the Great Falls Ice Plex.
The Americans (36-9-4-1) were in the Frontier Divisional Semi-Finals when the North American 3 Hockey League cancelled the rest of the postseason due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
As the public relations/media coordinator for the team, I want to thank the NA3HL officials for providing me with all of the stats for the home games and for making sure I had all of the correct information for the game summaries that are published on our website. I also would like to thank all the team sponsors — too many to list — who make our team possible. Thanks also to Jeremy Williamson for the fine work he did as the HockeyTV Play-By-Play Broadcaster again this season. Last, but not least, the Americans want to thank all the fans and billet (host) families who supported and came out to watch them in action. We ended up leading the Frontier Division in attendance again this year! We hope to see you during the 2020-21 season.
Thanks also to the media outlets including the Great Falls Tribune, ABC/Fox Montana (KFBB), KTVH/KBGF (NBC in Helena/Great Falls) and KRTV (CBS) for the great hockey coverage during the season.
