Americans off to fast start

The Americans picked up four big points after sweeping the Yellowstone Quake on the road.  Friday night a young Quake team gave the Americans all they could handle. The Americans got the win as,  Australian forward Sean McLean scored the game winning  goal with 3 minutes remaining in the third period.  The Americans out shot the Quake 73-25.  Swedish goaltender Viktor Wennberg got the win in net for the Americans.

The Americans were all business on Saturday night as they hammered the Quake 13-1.  Utah native Lindros Beard led the attack with two goals. Alaska native Levi Mese, and Matt Janke from Weston, Wisconsin added two goals each.  Great Falls native Braxton Lorenz added six assists.  Goaltender Drew Scites made 14 saves for his second win of the season.
