Americans announce Team Selection Tryout Camp dates

GREAT FALLS, Mont., August 8, 2016 — The Great Falls Americans Junior A Tier III hockey team is excited to announce their three-day team selection tryout camp at the end of August.

The Americans, who play in the Frontier Division of the North American 3 Hockey League, have a long standing tradition of player development, winning, and advancement to higher levels of both collegiately and professional hockey.

The Americans, under the guidance of head coach Jeff Heimel, have won the past two Frontier Division championships (2014-15 and the 2015-16) and made three consecutive trips to the league finals (2013-14 American West Hockey League and the 2014-15 and 2015-16 NA3HL Silver Cup Tournaments.

Players interested in taking part in the camp scheduled for August 26-28, 2016 will need to arrive by 5:00PM on Thursday, August 25th. On Friday, August 26th, an informational meeting and player registrations will begin at 10:00AM. Camp attendees will be guaranteed fitness training, a team practice, four games and an exit interview that will take place at the conclusion of the tryout camp on Sunday, August 28th. The cost of the camp is $250.00.
