2016-17 NA3HL: Frontier Division Star of the Week
The NA3HL gives out a “Stars of the Week” award every week of the regular season. The awards, presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending January 1, 2017. The weekly divisional Stars of the Week award are given to the top performing players in each of the eight divisions (Central, Coastal, East, West, Midwest, Northeast, South and Frontier) of the North American 3 Hockey League that are nominated by their head coaches.

Frontier Division Star of the Week:
Jesse Johnson, Defenseman, GF Americans
Playing a strong two-way game this weekend was Great Falls defenseman Jesse Johnson. The 20-year-old from Anchorage, AK notched five points fo the Americans, including two goals and three assists. Johnson was also a +5.
Great Falls Americans assistant coach Erik Gatson: “Jesse recently got his wisdome teeth removed, and had not seen game-speed on the ice in a bit. To see him come back, and not miss a beat, was great.”

Adam Vandenbos, Forward, GF Americans
