Mcsharry quickly followed with a goal at 0:40 with an assist from fellow Americans forward Juliussen. Moore answered for the Quake with a goal at 3:02 with assists from his linemates, Buller and Ford. Stewart scored what turned out to be the game winning goal at 7:38 with helpers from Stewart and Doner. Doner netted a goal at 13:22 with assists from his linemates, Stewart and Pelto.
