Nick Nast came up big, stopping 37 of 38 shots throughout the game. The Great Falls Americans took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Brendan Jester.
Brendan Jester delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).
During the first, Mcsharry opened the scoring for the Americans with a goal at 2:22 with helpers from his linemates, Truex and Jester.
In the second period, Pantoja answered for the Quake with a goal at 3:05 with assists from his linemates, Stewart and Meyer. Jester answered for Great Falls with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 7:57 with helpers from his linemates, Mezharaups and Bernhards.
The Americans’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Nast’s big night as he stopped 37 of the 38 shots he faced. On the other hand, Nast’s counterpart, Ottenbacher, and Yellowstone’s defense did not have such a great night allowing 2 goals in 26 shots.
This win brings the Great Falls Americans’ record to (44-4-2-3)
