Bryan Sharp came up big, stopping 25 of 26 shots throughout the game. The Great Falls Americans took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Goodman Weston.

In the first, Ramstad opened the scoring for the Americans with a goal at 17:55 with helpers from his teammates Simpson and Rath.
During the second period, Cunningham answered for Missoula with a goal at 5:16 with an assist from fellow Junior Bruins forward Todd. Weston answered for Great Falls with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 13:56 with helpers from Cowden and Vandenbos.
During the third, Vandenbos netted a goal at 15:44.
The Americans’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Sharp’s big night as he stopped 25 of the 26 shots he faced. Sharp’s counterpart, Thomas, also had a big night, managing to stop 35 of 38, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Great Falls Americans’ record to (10-1-2-0).
