The Americans defeat the Junior Bruins 3-1

Bryan Sharp came up big, stopping 25 of 26 shots throughout the game. The Great Falls Americans took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Goodman Weston.

Adam Vandenbos chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first, Ramstad opened the scoring for the Americans with a goal at 17:55 with helpers from his teammates Simpson and Rath.

During the second period, Cunningham answered for Missoula with a goal at 5:16 with an assist from fellow Junior Bruins forward Todd. Weston answered for Great Falls with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 13:56 with helpers from Cowden and Vandenbos.

During the third, Vandenbos netted a goal at 15:44.

The Americans’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Sharp’s big night as he stopped 25 of the 26 shots he faced. Sharp’s counterpart, Thomas, also had a big night, managing to stop 35 of 38, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Great Falls Americans’ record to (10-1-2-0).
