During the second, Blatter opened the scoring for Bozeman with a goal at 12:57 with helpers from Stucker and Boje. Boje quickly followed with a goal at 14:45 with helpers from Patten and Hanley. Fary quickly followed with a goal at 15:59.
During the third, Houlihan netted a goal at 0:38 with an assist from his linemate Vukasin. Houlihan put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 9:01 with assists from his linemates, Vukasin and Mcsharry.
The Americans’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Scites as he stopped 14 of the 16 shots he faced. Scites’ counterpart, Thompson, also had a big night, managing to stop 49 of 52, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Great Falls Americans’ record to (26-10-2-0).
