In the second, Mcsharry finally put Great Falls on the board with a goal at 14:14 with helpers from his linemates, Houlihan and Vukasin.
During the third period, Mack scored a goal at 0:24 with assists from his linemates, Vandenbos and Vukasin. Vandenbos quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 0:38. Parker deposited a goal at 4:32 with helpers from Peterson and Fary. Mcgarrah quickly followed with a goal at 4:59 with assists from Stucker and Hanley. Goodman answered for Great Falls with a goal at 17:45 with helpers from his linemates, Janke and Fary. Goodman netted a goal at 19:49 with an assist from fellow Americans forward Rath.
The Americans’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Sharp as he stopped 19 of the 21 shots he faced. Sharp’s counterpart, Thompson, also had a big night, managing to stop 47 of 53, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Great Falls Americans’ record to (33-11-2-0).
