The Great Falls Americans' offense had a big night, peppering the Bozeman Icedogs with 50 shots throughout the game. The Great Falls Americans took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Kyler Mack and never looked back.

In the first, Mack opened the scoring for the Americans with a goal at 4:07. Mack deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 13:32 with assists from his linemates, Vandenbos and Janke. Houlihan quickly followed with a goal at 13:44.
During the second period, Goodman netted a goal at 4:38.
In the third, Charnholm finally put the Icedogs on the board with a goal at 7:06 with helpers from his teammates Patten and Hanley.
The Americans’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Sharp as he stopped 15 of the 16 shots he faced. Sharp’s counterpart, Carlson, also had a big night, managing to stop 46 of 50, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Great Falls Americans’ record to (24-9-2-0).
