2016-17 NA3HL: Frontier Division Star of the Week

The NA3HL gives out a “Stars of the Week” award every week of the regular season. The awards, presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending February 26, 2017. The weekly divisional Stars of the Week award are given to the top performing players in each of the eight divisions (Central, Coastal, East, West, Midwest, Northeast, South and Frontier) of the North American 3 Hockey League that are nominated by their head coaches.

For the Week Ending February 26, 2017

Frontier Division Star of the Week:

Payton McSharry, Forward, GF Americans

Payton McSharry, 18-year-old, from Anchorage, Alaska had a total of five points over a two game series this weekend, including three goals (one on the power play) and two assists.  Payton also had a +6 performance on Friday.

Great Falls Americans assistant coach Erik Gatson: “Payton was shooting the puck nonstop this weekend. He’s got a good shot and we’re constantly challenging him to use it more in games. It was good to see him scorea few this weekend.”

Brendan Jester, Forward, GF Americans
